For solar system cycling, the TS5 can be powered directly from PV panels.
When the sun rises, the solar hot water panel heats up, and the PV panel is also generating electricity. When the minimum starting current is reached, the water pump will start slowly and deliver the heated water to the storage tank.
Very simple operation reduces the use of controllers, heaters and sensors.
