There are many specifications of submersible electric pumps, which must be properly selected according to the actual situation. According to our experience, it can be considered from the following three aspects:
1. Selection of main parameters.
(1) Head. It refers to the increase in energy of the unit weight of liquid pumped by the pump from the pump inlet to the pump outlet, that is, the height of the liquid column of the pumped liquid. It is represented by H and the unit is m. The head selection of the submersible pump can be calculated as follows:
It should be noted that: when the submersible pump is used to lift well water, the value of HD is determined according to the point where the water level in the well may drop; The lift loss HL increases. In our experience, the value of HL is generally considered to be 10% of the pipe length. After determining the head H2N according to the above formula, we suggest to increase the head margin by 5% to avoid insufficient head in actual use. But don't add too much to cause waste.
(2) Flow. Refers to the amount of liquid pumped out by the pump per unit time. Expressed by Q, the unit is m23/h. Two points should be paid attention to when choosing the flow rate of the submersible pump: First, the flow rate of the submersible pump running in the well water should be less than or equal to the amount of water inflow in the well. Otherwise, the water in the well will be drained and the motor will be burned; second, the actual working flow of the submersible pump should be between 0.7 and 1.2 times the rated flow of the pump. Because the efficiency of the pump is higher in this flow range.
2. Selection of structure type
(1) According to the structure type of the pump motor, there are dry type, oil-immersed type, water-filled type and shielded type. The dry motor is like a common enclosed motor, the stator and rotor are in the air; the oil-immersed motor is filled with oil; the water-filled motor is filled with clean water; the stator and rotor of the shielded motor are separated, and the stator part is dry. , The rotor part is filled with oil or water.
The sealing performance of the dry motor is relatively poor, but the price is cheap; the oil-immersed motor and the water-filled motor can improve the sealing conditions, so that the external water is not easy to enter the motor, and has a wide range of applications; the sealing performance and insulation of the shielded motor The performance is better and the price is more expensive.
(2) According to the structure of the pump itself, there are axial flow, centrifugal and mixed flow, etc., each of which is suitable for different occasions. Axial flow pumps are suitable for low lift and large flow; centrifugal pumps are suitable for high lift and small flow; mixed flow pumps are suitable for moderate lift and flow.
As long as we follow the above two aspects, combined with the specific conditions of the actual application, we can make an appropriate choice for the structure of the submersible pump.
3. Selection of outlet piping
Various specifications of submersible pumps have certain requirements on the outlet pipe. Inconsistent inner diameters or too long lengths will affect the flow rate, reduce efficiency and waste electricity. At the same time, the head of the pump is also consumed, which cannot meet the requirements of the submersible pump. Therefore, the outlet pipe must be selected according to the inner diameter of the outlet pipe of the pump, and the length of the outlet pipe should be determined according to the principle of the minimum length to reach the lift height. If the water outlet pipe needs to be replaced due to problems such as shortage of supply, the flow rate of the water in the substitute pipe should generally be controlled below 4m/s.
